Why doesn't Flash work?

Answer:

There may be two reasons:

Plugins Are Not Enabled

Plugins are disabled by default, please refer to the following article to enable plugins: How do I enable plugins?

Flash Is Not Installed

The Adobe Flash plugin must be installed on the users machine (usually via the Adobe Flash installer). Awesomium specifically uses the NPAPI-version of Flash (the same version that Firefox uses).
